Refund policy

At Maulee Muse, every garment is thoughtfully designed and crafted with care. Many of our pieces are made to order or tailored specifically for our customers, reflecting our commitment to sustainability and reducing overproduction.

1. Return Eligibility

We gladly accept returns for standard-size ready-to-wear items under the following conditions:

  • Return request must be submitted within 5 days of receiving your order.
  • The item must be unused, unwashed, unworn, and in its original condition.
  • All original tags, labels, packaging, and accessories must be intact.
  • Proof of purchase or order confirmation is required.

Once the returned item passes our quality inspection, your return will be processed.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Made-to-order garments.
  • Made-to-measure or customized pieces.
  • Personalized or altered products.
  • Sale, promotional, clearance, or final-sale items.
  • Gift cards.
  • Items that have been worn, washed, damaged, stained, or altered after delivery.

3. Exchanges

We offer one complimentary size exchange for eligible standard-size garments, subject to stock availability.

Exchange requests must be submitted within 5 days of delivery.

Custom-made or made-to-measure garments are not eligible for exchange unless there is a manufacturing defect.

4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an incorrect or defective item:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Email your order number along with clear photographs or videos showing the issue.
  • After verification, we will offer one of the following:
    • Free replacement.
    • Complimentary repair or alteration.
    • Full refund where replacement or repair is not possible.

5. Refunds

Once your return is received and approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
  • Original shipping charges, customs duties, taxes, and import fees (if applicable) are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

6. Order Cancellation

  • Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement for a full refund.
  • Once production has begun, made-to-order or customized orders cannot be cancelled.

7. International Orders

Customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or local charges imposed by their country.

International return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the product received is defective or incorrect.

8. Sustainable Fashion Commitment

Each Maulee Muse garment is created with intention rather than mass-produced. By producing only what is needed, we reduce waste and support ethical craftsmanship. We encourage customers to review our size guide carefully before placing an order.
